Julia Roberts in Eat Pray Love

Julia Fiona Roberts, born in Smyrna, Georgia, never dreamed she would become the most popular actress in America. As a child, due to her love of animals, Julia originally wanted to be a veterinarian, but later studied journalism. When her brother, Eric Roberts, achieved some success in Hollywood, Julia decided to try acting. Her first break came in 1988 when she appeared in two youth-oriented movies Mystic Pizza (1988) and Satisfaction (1988). The movies introduced her to a new audience who instantly fell in love with this pretty woman. Julia’s biggest success was in the signature movie Pretty Woman (1990), for which Julia got an Oscar nomination, and also won the People’s Choice award for Favorite Actress. Even though Julia would spend the next few years either starring in serious movies, or playing fantasy roles like Tinkerbell, the movie audiences would always love Julia best in romantic comedies. With My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997) Julia gave the genre fresh life that had been lacking in Hollywood for some time. Offscreen, after a brief marriage, Julia has been romantically linked with several other actors. Julia has also become involved with UNICEF charities and has made visits to many different countries, including Haiti and India, in order to promote goodwill. Julia is one of the most popular and sought-after talents in Hollywood.

And now Julia Robert played as Liz Gilbert in the Movie Eat Pray Love. Liz Gilbert (Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having a husband, a house, a successful career – yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali. Based upon the bestselling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Selena Gomez as Beezus

Selena Marie Gomez was born on July 22, 1992. Selena Gomez was born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. Her mother Amanda [Commonly known as Mandy] Cornett is an Italian woman from Dallas, Texas and her father Ricardo Gomez is from New Mexico. Mommy Mandy gave birth to Selena at 16, and her parents divorced in 1997. Nearly 10 years later she remarried to Brian Teefy. Selena is best known for her role as Alex Russo in the show ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’ and as Mary in ‘Another Cinderella Story’. Selena signed a record deal with Hollywood Records just before her 16th birthday and is recording an album due out Summer of 2009.

And now Selena Gomez has just been cast to play Beezus in the film adaptation of “Ramona and Beezus,” the first book in Beverly Cleary’s popular “Ramona” children’s series. Selena Gomez will be joined by up-and-coming child actress Joey King, who is set to play Beezus’ little sister, the rambunctious and accident-prone Ramona.

Rosamund Pike, Miranda Frost, Surrogate

Rosamund Pike (born 27 January 1979) is an English actress. She is perhaps best known for her portrayals of Bond villainess Miranda Frost in Die Another Day and Jane Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. She also plays Maggie Greer in the futuristic (not so distant) movie, Surrogates with Bruce Willis.

Pike was born in London, England, the only child of concert musicians Caroline and Julian Pike.[1] She attended Badminton School in Bristol before studying English Literature at Wadham College, Oxford. While there, she studied under both Bernard O’Donoghue, the Whitbread prize-winning poet, and Robert J.C. Young, the eminent post-colonial theorist. An able student, she achieved a First Class in her first year examinations (known as Moderations) and, after taking a year off to pursue her career, returned to complete her degree in 2001, gaining an Upper Second.

Julie Benz as Rita Bennett-Morgan in Dexter

Julie Benz is the love interest of Michael C. Hall in Dexter… but I would not call her the ‘love interest’, because Dexter is the character that does not have interests in relationship nor in any other feelings except to kill.

Julie Benz plays (played) Rita Bennette for the first 2 seasons of Dexter and later became Rita Bennette-Morgan as she and Dexter got married and bore a child. It’s just a sad thing that I found out that she died on the 4rth season..

Julie Benz has been in a lot of successful TV series and movies for the past decade or so. Her upcoming movies are:

# Bedrooms (2009) as Anna
# Answers to Nothing (2010) as Frankie

She was also in big films like Saw V, Rambo, and others.

A.J. Cook, One Hot Mormon

I’m watching “Final Destination 2″ and it is here that reminded me of A.J. Cook. She plays Kimberly in the movie. She’s the one who had the premonition.

Cook was born in Oshawa, Ontario and spent most of her life growing up in Whitby. Her father, Mike, is a teacher and her mother, Sandra, is a sheriff and works for a psychiatrist.[1] She has three siblings named Nathan, Paul and Angela. Cook is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[2] As a devout Mormon, she accepts only roles that don’t go against her faith. At four years of age, Cook began taking jazz, tap and ballet lessons. She danced competitively for many years before deciding at the age of 17 that she wanted to try acting.

Paz Vega

Here’s a new name I stumble upon just now while viewing some Tara Reid’s sagging boobs. :D

Her name is Paz Vega. Well, she is known to many but not me unfortunately. I have also checked Google Trends’ search for “Paz Vega” and looks like the traffic is going down hill.

The likeliness of me (or hot and gorgeous dot com) making a page for Paz Vega is very unlikely.
